Lowell is located 28 miles north of Boston
off Route 495 and Route 3.
Take the Lowell Connector from
Route 495 Exit 35C or
Route 3N Exit 30B or
Route 3S Exit 30A onto 495N, then an immediate exit
at 35C.
To reach the Visitor Center, the Tsongas
Arena, or the New England Quilt Museum, exit the Connector
at Exit 5B (Thorndike St.). At the 4th traffic light,
Thorndike merges onto Dutton St.
At the first traffic light on Dutton, turn right
into the Visitor Center parking lot;
or continue to the next light (Market St.); turn right
for the Market St. Garage and the New England Quilt
Museum;
or continue on Dutton, which becomes Arcand, to the
end; the Tsongas Arena is straight ahead.
